Previously, The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy by Yoshitaka Amano was available as a boxed set, limited edition. This edition, published by Dark Horse was listed at $139.99 but sold out. Many of the pre-orders were not fulfilled, leaving a lot of angry customers.

This boxed set had a lot of goodies inside, including a card signed by Yoshitaka Amano. It can now only be purchased by 3rd party individual sellers, and has an approximate value on Amazon.com and Ebay of $600.
For those more interested in the books, and can do without all the extras the original boxed set included, can have a 2nd chance at owning a copy of The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy. This version has a slipcase that wraps around the included volumes with a double hinged flap and hidden magnet closure.
At this time there is no news on if this is going to be a limited print run as well. You can currently pre-order the slipcased edition on either Amazon.com or Things From Another World.
The suggested price is $89.99 but retailers have set it for less. According to the Dark Horse website, The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy publication date is June 19th, 2013. Amazon currently has it listed for July 2nd.
