The popular Reality TV show, 'The Sisterhood', episode 2 centered on introducing DeLana, Dominique’s past, Tara and Brian’s relationship to the group and preparation for Trevor’s Christian Bar Mitzvah.

DeLana’s husband is Pastor Myles. He is pastor of Worship With Wonders church. DeLana calls herself a “Southern Belle.” Ivy calls DeLana, “Sweet and having a quiet spirit.” DeLana told the ladies from the get go, “I don’t gossip.” Check out the video at bottom, you may be in for a surprise.

All the pastor’s wives were invited to DeLanas’ house to fellowship, and Dominique opened up about her dark past. Dominique’s past includes abandonment by her mother, sexual abuse, prostitution and drugs. Her story brought tears to Ivy. Christina expressed compassion to Dominique.

Tara presents herself as extremely holy; some would call her “holier than thou.” Tara and Brian are having a hard time communicating with the other couples in a peaceful way. Tara and Ivy met for lunch, and it turned into a disaster. Tara accused Ivy of allowing the devil to use her. Ivy explained that being humble is the best way to handle this situation.

Lastly, the preparation for Trevor’s Bar Mitzvah, Tara and Brian’s 13-year-old son, is in progress. The plan is to have a ‘Christian Bar Mitzvah.” Brian is both Jewish and Christian, so they want their son to experience a Christian birthday ‘coming into manhood’ celebration as well as a Jewish heritage theme. Brian and Tara say the Holy Spirit told them he is a special child; they say, “Trevor is going to be President of the United States.”

If you have heard DeLana Rutherford sing, you know she has a beautiful voice; she is related to gospel singer, Wess Morgan.

'The Sisterhood' airs on TLC, Tuesdays at 9pm EST.
