The simulcast is over

The official simulcast of WPLJ on 94.7 FM ended this evening with 94.7 moving to a stunting that included all sorts of formats including polkas, all Michael Jackson music and old airchecks of WABC Musicradio including Dan Ingram and Cousin Brucie. Right now, they are just playing a variety of just about anything that will bring attention to the frequency.

What exactly ends up on 94.7 will be officially revealed on Monday, January 21st at 9:47 AM. All of the "experts" are predicting the station will go with a country format. Me, I'm sticking with my original predition that I made when I first heard that Cumulus had bought the station - this will be the home of the CBS Sports Radio Network.

We shall all see on Monday morning at 9:47 AM.
