'The Simpsons' gets both 'Harry Potter' and 'Twilight' for Halloween special

"The Simpsons" always manages to come up with something creative for their annual Treehouse of Horror, and this year they are going in a direction that many people will be familiar with -- vampires. "Twilight" parodies are all over the place these days, but this show specifically is trying to show what happens when they drink Homer's high-cholesterol blood.

Not only can we expect plenty of blood-sucking plots during this episode, but also some big-name guest stars. "Harry Potter" himself in Daniel Radcliffe is voicing a young vampire, while "House" star Hugh Laurie is also on board to play an older one.

Even though the show is in its 22nd season, one of the reasons that "The Simpsons" can still find a few diamonds in the rough when it comes to creative content is due to pop culture -- with it always changing, there is at least something always out there to base a few laughs off of.
