Come join in the fun in lighting the biggest tree in Center City with a cup of egg nog, a photo with Santa, while enjoying free live entertainment. Tomorrow from 6-8pm, the Shops at Liberty Place will celebrate the holidays with Center City's largest tree lighting ceremony. The tree stands at 44 feet and is immaculately decorated for the holidays.
The evening's festivities includes two live performances. Come and enjoy the live performances by the Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus and The Philadelphia Dance Academy at 6 p.m.. The Philly Arts Center has set up a children arts and crafts table for holiday keepsakes, and with bites and drinks by R2L, photos with Santa, this will be a treat for the whole family. Santa will light the tree promptly at 7:00 pm.

We’ve been here for more than twenty years and the holidays are really important to us,” says Jill Scarlett, Retail Shops Manager at The Shops at Liberty Place. “We want to give something back to the families and shoppers who visit us every holiday season and this year we have something really special with Center City’s largest tree.”
Families can then take the opportunity to take photographs with Santa (bring your own camera).
The stores in The Shops at Liberty Place are to extend their hours during the ceremony and remain open until 8:00 pm and many will be offering exclusive sales. In addition to these exclusive discounts, guests will also receive complimentary beverages and lite bites provided by R2L. Nik the Web Chick from Philadelphia’s hit radio station Q102 will also be onsite with eggnog for all and additional giveaways.
