The Shops at La Cantera is having an art festival this weekend starting on Friday. With activities like a wine tasting and a garden brunch scheduled it is sure to be a fun time filled with fine art, food and wine. Admission to the festival is free and open to the public.
More than 75 fine and contemporary artists will be displaying and selling their artwork in the open air environment of La Cantera. The types of art media will include class, glass, metal photography and more. This is a great opportunity for art lovers to go shopping for original art and maybe get some holiday shopping done.
Other festival events going on this weekend include:
Sip, Savor and Shop – Saturday October 19 from noon to 9p.m.
There will be a wine tasting hosted by Culinaria as well as a paella demonstration by Chef Johnny Hernandez of La Gloria and The Fruteria. A cash bar will also be available. Tickets are $20 and are available through culinariasa.org.
Garden Party Brunch – Sunday October 20 from noon to 3p.m.
Brunch will include items from Brio, Z’Tejas and others and will benefit Culinaria. Tickets are $30 in advance and $50 at the door.
