According to a March 3 post from Bleacher Report, The Usos won the WWE Tag Team Championship for the first time in their career, by defeating The New Age Outlaws during the March 3 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw in Chicago, Ill.
The Usos vs The New Age Outlaws kicked off an exciting night of bouts at the Chicago episode of "Raw," an event that also featured a bout pitting Big E against Cesaro.
However, there was plenty of action at WWE Monday Night Raw, long before any combatant stepped into the ring.
First, the WWE trolled the Chicago crowd by blasting CM Punk's theme song through the loudspeakers, to make it seem as if he was returning to the fold after a month away from action.
Just as soon as the crowd believed CM Punk was returning, Paul Heyman walked out instead. Heyman dropped a vicious verbal "pipe bomb" that included blaming the crowd and The Undertaker for Punk leaving the WWE.
Somehow, that led to Brock Lesnar walking out to the ring, where he was met by "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry.
The crowd soon began to chant for Punk again, but Lesnar quieted them down by tossing Henry through the announcer's table.
Cesaro vs Jack Swagger
Later in the night, Big E defeated Cesaro via disqualification, as Jack Swagger interrupted the match. Swagger's interruption cost Cesaro the Intercontinental Championship Belt two weeks in a row, so there is obviously some tension building in The Real Americans camp.
However, The Real Americans tag-team combo of Cesaro and Swagger is still in tact at present time. They have not yet broken up.
Cesaro is being looked at as a potential singles star, so it could be just a matter of time before he gets his shot in the limelight.
The Shield splits up
Later in the March 3 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw in Chicago, The Shield battled The Wyatt Family, in a rematch from "Elimination Chamber."
Seth Rollins walked out on Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose in the middle of the match, thus breaking up The Shield.
Also on the WWE Monday Night Raw Chicago card, Daniel Bryan battled Batista.
While the Chicago crowd did not get to see Punk, they did receive plenty of great matches. There's still a chance that Punk returns for Wrestlemania, as his contract runs until July.
