The Shield continue to get a huge push on WWE RAW

On the January 14th episode of WWE RAW, The Shield continued to make a major impact on WWE television. The 3 man group interrupted WWE's Mick Foley during his celebration of the announcement that he will be inducted into the WWE HOF. They came down through the crowd and into the ring to attack Foley. However, the retired Mick Foley was saved by WWE's hottest star Ryback as he came down to continue his feud with The Shield, who previously cost Ryback the WWE championship on more than one occasion.

Ryback was unable to get the best of the 3 men and required help by WWE stars Randy Orton and Sheamus. It appears that the WWE is set to feud this group against a combination of these 3 faces.

Ever since The Shield debuted at the Survivor Series PPV on November 18th, 2012, they have been making their presence felt, Typically that presence involved costing Ryback some victories. However, the group has also left a trail of beaten and bruised wrestlers as they seemingly attack at will.

This push is a surprise to many because the WWE usually breaks up factions quicker than they should. All 3 men of the Shield: Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns were expected to have successful single's careers in the WWE. But, collectively, they have left a mark on the WWE Universe and that mark appears to be continuing into 2013.
