The Secret Life of Girls returns to Paducah's Market House Theater

'The Secret Life of Girls' encores at Market House Theater

If you’ve got any free time this weekend, head over to downtown Paducah. You don’t want to miss the much-awaited encore of The Secret Life of Girls. The show was so popular during the last youth season at Market House Theater that this second weekend was much anticipated.

The enlightening play revolves around the world of the female teenager. Topics addressed in this in-your-face feature include bullying, gossiping, secrets, rumors, and many other seriously disturbing behaviors that effect American youth every day. It is highly recommended for families with young women and girls ages 11 and up.

The Secret Life of Girls is directed by April Cochran. The cast includes many western Kentucky teenagers, including Annie Segebarth, Chandler Emmons-Smith, Sarah Byassee, Vanessa DeMarco, Nicki Caturano, Maria Miller, and Victoria DeMarco. Adult actresses are Sabrina Beck, Lauren Dunkerson, and Gina Dunkerson.

The play is running the first weekend in October, with performances at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday in the Studio Theatre at 120 Market House Square. Tickets are $10. Tickets are available through the Market House Theater box office (270-444-6828) from noon until 5:00 p.m., Tuesdays through Fridays, or online at
