Last Thursday, the season opening of Haven Rooftop’s Ski Chalet took place inside of the Sanctuary Hotel near Times Square. Haven’s Ski Chalet features custom-built private chalets named after top international ski destinations, including Aspen, Courchevel and St. Moritz. Guests were served small bites such as bruschettas, pizza, sliders, and tuna tartar, and specialty cocktails that included the Spiker, the Apple Sauced, and the Peppermint Cream. Guests enjoyed s’mores and chocolate fondue for dessert. There was also a Shot Ski, brought by waitresses wearing Snow Sugar outfits, for guests that were a bit more adventurous. Resident DJ Olivier Meiji, who had been flown in from Villa Romana in St. Tropez, was mixing the beats at the event.
Haven’s Ski Chalet is a great hotspot to visit this winter. Real snow falls nightly outside of the venue’s tents via an hourly snow show. The décor of the venue is very inviting with snowflake lighting, a lively fireplace, and a Christmas tree. Make sure to stop by Haven’s Ski Chalet this season!
