The search for missing Dundee mother Jennifer Huston has taken to the air and water. Search teams are scouring every back road in hopes that Jennifer Huston will be found.

Jennifer Huston still missing

KPTV reported that At least two helicopter searches have already taken place and a Cessna plane will be joining in the search.

A private helicopter took off from the Hillsboro Airport at about 10:45am Wednesday and looked around Parrot Mountain, Bald Peak, Hagg Lake, and the Willamette River between Champoeg Park and Wheatland Ferry.

Search grids have been set up and are being searched with a fine tooth comb.

Captain Tim Svenson said no one knows the roads surrounding Dundee and Newberg better than his deputies, who searched along the Willamette River for any trace of Jennifer Huston or her 1999 Lexus SUV.

“We would most likely see their tire tracks coming into the water, so we’d be checking the bank for that” stated Deputy David Mills of the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office.

Still, there is no sign yet of Jennifer Huston or her SUV.

An updated bulletin has been issued for law enforcement agencies in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, and Alaska.

We now know that Huston left her home at 5:45, first going to the Oregon First Community Credit Union in Newberg and withdrew less than $100. She then went to a nearby Circle K gas station and put less than $40 in her SUV, leading police to believe that she was topping off the gas tank She also went to a Rite Aid in Newberg to purchase Gatorade, trail mix, and over the counter sleeping pills.

Officers stated that the amount of sleeping pills she bought weren’t enough to give a lethal dose.

Police speculate that her SUV could travel 300-350 miles on a full tank of gas.

She had several places she liked to visit within that radius, but police have not released those details.

Tuesday evening at a press conference, police confirmed that there have been no confirmed sightings of Huston since her disappearance; however reported sightings have come in from as far away as Michigan.

Phone records show that she received a text from her mother at 6:22pm Thursday, but Huston’s phone stopped sending signals at 6:25pm.

Police still say there is no criminal link to Huston’s disappearance and it has been difficult getting subpoenas because it’s hard to prove that Huston is an endangered person.

Jennifer Huston is 5’7” tall with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing black and pink Nike sneakers and black yoga pants. She drives a dark green 1999 Lexus LX470 with Oregon plates WXH 011. There is a U shaped crack in the windshield on the passenger side and a Yakima ski rack mounted on the roof.
