In the essay, Science Club of Long Island (which was originally posted at the blog Atheism is Dead which is one of the website True Freethinker’s predecessors) it was noted that open dialogue was sought with the Science Club of Long Island. While one may expect to encounter unbiased seekers for truth administering a scientific organization, it was very quickly discovered that its founder, president and publisher, Oleg Dei, is a rather picante personage who runs the Science Club of Long Island as an anti-Christian support group.
Indeed, within the attempted discourse he instantly went to replying with erudite elucidations of scientific matters such as, “I eat stupid dumb*** Christians for lunch!” (expletive removed).
Thereafter, he decided to have a go at Atheism is Dead’s comments section wherein he decided to besmirch all with whom he disagreed. Therein he also made it crystal clear that 1) he is the sort of person who takes a theory that is supposed to be about biology (Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution) and turns it into a worldview and that 2) he possessed a tremendous lack of knowledge about that which he opposes (that particularly true of that which he claims to have disproved such as Christianity itself).
In this series of articles, we will consider his various comments are respond to each in turn.
To the post "Darwin Was Wrong" - Upcoming Webcasted Conference, he commented:
Darwin was right that is why evolution is taught in public schools as the origin and adaptation of life.
Only the nuts fail to understand this!
Note that 1) he is basing the rightness of a theory based on whether or not it is taught in public schools and, most importantly, 2) Darwin’s theory of evolution(though, at least by today, it ought) has absolutely nothing to say about the origin of life but only about the adaptation of life. When it comes to the origin of life Charles Darwin had about as much to say as Dr. Seuss.
Charles Darwin:

Dr. Seuss:

The post Coelacanth - The Hopeless Monstermade the point that the Coelacanth was thought to be our evolutionary ancestor since it clearly grew leg like appendages that eventually became human legs. Yet, we can now compare fossil Coelacanth with living Coelacanth and conclude that no change has taken place.

People we have an individual who is trying to disprove evolution who knows nothing about the subject. In the ultimate sign of ignorance this pathetic individual is trying to tell us that science teaches that humans evolved from fish.
This person has been watching too many cartoons more specifically Aquaman. He believes that science is religion, that Big Space Daddy is listening to him, ghosts impregnate women and casper is in his shorts! What a perfect case for therapy no make that abortion!
Firstly, the post said nothing about dinosaurs and thus, did not ask what happened to them.
Speaking of “childish,” the next point is a well-within-the-box-atheist-group think-talking point-de jour, “…your fictional Big Space Daddy in the sky?” This is a crystal clear demonstration of his lack of knowledge of natural theology / general revelation—for info on this, see the essay On the Flying Spaghetti Monster, the Invisible Pink Unicorns, et al.
As far as what he claims to have proved—Christ and Christianity—we are fortunate that he made such a claim as it show us his modis operani. This is a window into what sweeping conclusions he reaches based on highly questionable and, in fact, utterly discredited pseudo-evidence. Lastly, he claims “A fish never changed into a human,” well, no, not directly, not within one lifetime. Yet, thus saith the theory of evolution: a bunch of stuff happened, then fish crawled into dry land and on the story goes until human beings comment on websites.
