This coming week, March 31 – April 6 in Orlando local music has a lot of variety to offer music fans looking for live shows.

There are a couple of big announcements in music news this week. Orlando band Letters To Part has called it quits. There will be one last EP to come out under the band’s name so music fans can keep an eye out for that. Last Wednesday, the Florida Music Festival posted the schedule for their upcoming music festival and conference scheduled for April 24-26 in downtown Orlando.

On Wednesday, The Social is celebrating The Sapphire Supper Club 20 Year Anniversary with a live show featuring music from bands that helped shape the location’s history. (The Social started out as The Sapphire Supper Club.) There will be live music from Donkey, Drivin’ n Cryin’, Steve Foxbury, Terri Binnion, “The Archer Band”/Cherlene, Eugene Snowden, Joseph Martens, The Mayberry Allstars and more for this special 21+ show.

Thursday music fans can be a part of a music video for Orlando band RAZORZ EDGE at West End Live. The band will be filming scenes for their music video before, during and after the show for their song “Hatchets & Razorz.”

On Saturday is the Third Annual Delandapalooza Original Music & Art Festival presented by Songwriters Showcases of America in downtown Deland. The one day music festival kicks off at 1 p.m. with quite a few Orlando bands in the lineup. More information is available in this Examiner.com article.

RAZORZ EDGE will be filming a music video for “Hatchets & Razorz” before, during and after the show. This show is also a fundraiser for RAZORZ EDGE as they auction off items to help fund their upcoming tour. The doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $5/7.
