I don't think Sandra Bullock has gotten enough appreciation in our entertainment realm until rather recently. She mixes up her workouts
Doing the same workout over and over can become boring and unavailing. Our bodies have magnificent muscle memory, so if we perform a specific exercise repeatedly, our muscles start to recognize it and the workout becomes less effective. Always try and mix it up! Sandra recently told InStyle: "I do a lot of Pilates, kickboxing, and weight training in LA, and when I'm in Austin I run or ride a bike."
She plans out her meals and makes room for cheat days
Celebrities are allowed cheat days?! Well we're all human, and Bullock insists on being able to eat whatever she pleases at least once a week. The other six days, her diet is full of brown rice, lentils, steamed veggies, and lean chicken. Having one cheat day is imperative for any dieter because it temporarily allows you to stop playing the "diet role" for an allotted amount of time, and settle any grueling cravings you might be having. While Bullock stresses the importance of mixing up her workouts, she attributes her long, lean muscle with Pilates and the help of LA-based Pilates trainer Eden Paul. Eden says Sandra's favorite body-toning moves are done using the Reformer but that Sandra also relies on lower-body shaping moves like lunges and squats.
She eats six small meals a day
Bullock suggests not to starve and prefers eating right combination of foods at least six times a day. This helps her body to program the insulin levels and train it to burn fat. Bullock stays in control by taking extreme cautions at her portions.
She has a healthy attitude
Eating as healthy and clean as possible is Bullock's key to healthy life and she tries not to be perturbed by her super thin counterparts in Hollywood. At 5'8 and a lean 110 lbs, she seems to fit in perfectly with the Hollywood scene, however Bullock prides herself on being a normal and healthy woman. When she does find herself preparing for a big event, like the Oscars, she tries to eliminate carbohydrates completely and stays away from sodium and sugar two weeks from the show.
