Sagamore, The Art Hotel in Miami Beach will present Will Ryman’s 65th Street Rose Sculpture, a colossal rose bed, soaring over 20 ft high springs up from steel stems. Ryman's installation will be on public display from November 27th to December 4th, 2011 at the beachfront hotel.
Ryman will also have a new rose installation at Fairchild Tropical Gardens.
Another highlight during Basel at the Sagamore besides the famous Art Basel Brunch, is the world premiere of the video "The Master" by acclaimed Cuban-American artist, Enrique Martínez Celaya.
On November, 30th, from 9 to 11PM, a VIP event hosted by Cricket and Martin Taplin, owners of the Sagamore Hotel, will present "The Master," Celaya's visually arresting and thought-provoking video motivated and created on the occasion of "Schneebett," Celaya's installation currently on view at the Miami Art Museum. The video premiere will be projected over the pool and will serve as the main focus of the evening.
