The Roys performing at The Station Inn on Thursday

Country music duo The Roys will perform at Nashville's legendary Station Inn on Thursday, May 5. The free hour-long performance will broadcast on 650 AM WSM Radio's monthly show Station Inn Sessions with Mike Terry.

Siblings Lee and Elaine Roy will sit down with Terry at 5 p.m. Central time for a live interview that will air wordwide via www.wsmonline.com. At 6 p.m. The Roys will perform a full-band live set that will include songs from their most recent album Lonesome Whistle, which reached #7 on the Billboard Bluegrass Album Chart.

The Station Inn performance is the duo's first live appearance in Nashville since the new album's release. "It should be a blast," Lee Roy said in a press release. "We have so much that we're thankful for and we are ready to celebrate," Elaine added.

In addition to the duo's Billboard success, their curent single "Coal Minin' Man" reached #4 on the Bluegrass Music Profiles chart and recently debuted at #30 on the Bluegrass Unlimited chart. The pair has also made a slew of recent television appearances on Fox, Better TV, ABC-TV's What's The Buzz, Daytime, GAC-TV, and Daily Buzz. "We're pretty excited about it," Lee stated.  "Our fans are really showing their support. It's just incredible!"
