The distinctive sibling harmonies that are the trademark sound of Elaine and Lee Roy, known as The Roys on the country scene, are in full voice with the duo's new single, "Beautiful," which is this weekend's free mp3 download via the Fresh Music Friday widget below.
The song is the lead track from the duo's upcoming 15-song album, Comin' Back Around, set for release later this year. Plans also are also under way for an EP release of songs from the ultimate full-length set. In the interim, however, music fans can score "Beautiful," which was co-written by Lee, for free this weekend, May 14-16.
The Roys have become mainstays on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart, scoring four successful charting singles and touring with the likes of George Jones, Phil Vassar and others.
Per the act's camp, Elaine and Lee will be "all over the place this year" as part of a national radio and concert tour, including a string of acoustic dates that are currently being scheduled. The Roys will also be appearing and performing at this year's CMA Music Festival in Nashville on June 10-13, with dates and time to be announced.
