Today is officially the first day of summer and time to plan a trip away from the hectic, humid life in New York City! The Palladium Hotel Group is a popular resort chain throughout Europe and Mexico. With a superb reputation for top-notch service, any destination within their portfolio will be nothing short of a 'slice of heaven!'

The Royal Suites Yucatan by Palladium is just under an hour from the Cancun airport. This all-inclusive property features several types of accommodations to ensure the best possible experience for a variety of travelers. Whether your itinerary calls for bringing the family or for those over 18, the Royal Suites offers an adults only area for singles, couples as well as LGBT travelers looking for a more peaceful stay.

Within the Royal Suites, there are 130 guest rooms, most with relaxing water views and some junior suites feature private Jacuzzi bath tubs on the large terrace overlooking the tranquil Mayan suites.

The hotel lobby consists of floor to ceiling windows surrounded by what seems like a never-ending lagoon along with a boat to take guests from one part of the resort to the other.

Dining options include: El Jardin (tasty buffet breakfast complete with fresh-squeezed juice or sit-down dinner menu), La Adelita is the perfect choice for traditional Mexican cuisine with local favorites: guacamole, margaritas, enchiladas, prawns and the catch of the day as well as a live Mariachi band for entertainment. There is a local vineyard just north of the Yucatan, Casa Madera, which produces a lush and velvety Merlot. Punta Emilia is located literally on White Sands Beach (a secluded little spot) reserved just for Royal Suites guests with ample selection of fresh seafood.

During the daytime hours guests can partake in a variety of activities: archery, rifle-shooting, bingo, Spanish lessons or water-sports. For the guest looking for some rest and relaxation, there are numerous swimming pools to choose from along with lazy rivers with swim-up bars.

All drinks, activities and food are included in the price of the accommodations, but rumor has it, the staff works six days a week and appreciates gratuities in any amount so tip generously because the staff at the Palladium works hard to make your stay especially wonderful.

The private cabanas along the pools and beaches are first-come, first-served, but White Sands seems to be somewhat of a secret location, so finding a VIP place to read a book, take a nap, or just chill out seems effortless.

At nighttime, there is a disco, live band with Las Vegas-style dancers (complete with costume changes) and sexy routines guests can learn from the patient instructors.

For overall relaxation, Zentropia Spa and Wellness Center is a must for those looking for a deep-tissue massage, facial or just a little bit of pampering. Royal Suites guests can also partake in complimentary use of the eucalyptus-infused steam room, sauna or resting lounges during their stay.

The hotel manager at the Palladium Royal Suites is known as "Antonio" and he is determined to make guests feel as comfortable as if they were in their own home. Special dietary requests, or specific needs are addressed with a cheerful "whatever it takes" attitude.

The Palladium Hotel Group is a refreshing take on the hotel chain business. The Royal Suites Palladium truly does offer something for everyone. To learn more, please visit:
