According to an article on Reuters, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s ceremony will be the first royal wedding to be covered via the web. It’s predicted that over two billion people will tune in to The Royal Channel on YouTube, which is being fed from British public broadcaster, BBC. This channel is also very interactive with a Wedding Book, encouraging viewers to send a message to the happy couple.
YouTube isn’t the only social media outlet participating in the celebration. Facebook, Flickr and Twitter will also be featuring updates and photos as William and Kate tie the knot.
