The Rock is being advertised locally in New York City for a "return to the ring" at WWE Survivor Series at Madison Square Garden on November 20th. Dwyane Johnson had previously stated on his Twitter, that he would appear at Survivor Series as part of his build for his main event at Wrestlemania 28. The wrestling legend turned movie star did not clarify he would physically perform in the ring.
The speculation of how the Rock will be performing at Survivor Series, is already running rampant. The event regularly features 5 on 5 elimination tag team matches, having the Rock in a crowded bout make his epic return could be a possibility.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Rock's involvement in the November classic event will be leveraged by WWE to get a huge corporate sponsor for the event and following PPV events where the Rock is appearing.
Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson who made an impactful return to WWE earlier this year, as he particpated in Wrestlemania 27 as the "guest host". Rock's involvment with the WWE Championship Match between John Cena and The Miz drew a huge audience on Pay Per View. The following night on RAW, Johnson and Cena locked down the date for their dream match at Wrestlemania 28 in Miami, Florida in April.
