Scheels All Sports (1551 45th Street South in Fargo, ND) will host the "Road to Sochi Tour" November 14-16, in conjunction with the 2014 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Curling, which will be held at Scheels Arena November 10-17.
“We’re delighted to once again bring the excitement of the Olympic and Paralympic Games to fans throughout the country with the Road to Sochi Tour,” said USOC Chief Marketing Officer Lisa Baird.
The event will make 13 stops in cities across the country to raise awareness and excitement for the 2014 Olympic games. Fans will participate in autograph signings with past, present and future Olympic and Paralympic athletes and try their skills at a variety of interactive sports games and exhibits.
Highlights include collection of figure skating memorabilia, photo shoots on a simulated ski jump and luge track and interactive sports games that offer a chance to try the skills required for Olympic and Paralympic sports like cross country skiing and ice hockey.
