"Each year Sketchbook brings together more than 150 actors, visual artists, musicians, writers, directors, designers, and stagehands from all over the city to collaborate on this beautiful and ambitious undertaking," explains Founding Executive and Artistic Director of Collaboraction Anthony Moseley, of Sketchbook 14: 2049.

"Many participants return year after year, drawn by the energy and passion that drives the festival forward. Sketchbook serves as an invaluable opportunity for both seasoned and emerging artists to connect and grow together, turning our theater into a hub of talented individuals working together toward the common goal of bringing a broad array of innovative art to a diverse audience."

Divided into two programs, the festival puts together visual art, live music and theatrical performances including Attic Play by Anthony Donald Kochensparger; The Big One by Idris Goodwin; The Rise and Fall of Everything in the World by Brook Allen; Sanitarium Story by Seth Bockley; The Surprise by Corey Rieger; Tomorrow by Caitlin Parrish; Until the World is Beautiful by Jack Miggins; and Young Fathers by Joel Kim Booster.

Sketchbook 14: 2049 takes place from May 22 to June 15 at Collaboraction, on the third floor of the Flat Iron Arts Building, on 1579 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Wicker Park.

Tickets ($15-$50) and all-access passes are available at 312-226-9633. For additional information on the festival, visit collaboraction.org.
