The RINO report

Harry Kibler

RINO = Republicans In Name Only

When Republicans unapologetically embrace conservatism with the Reagan-Bush approach, they win--by landslides. When they "reach across the aisle" (i.e., abandon their principles) with the Ford-Dole-McCain approach, conservatives don't show up and they lose.

Below are the names of the Illinois GOP candidates running for governor and U.S. Senate. Some other Illinois candidates have also been listed in the links provided.

If anything in their backgrounds sends up a red flag, it will be listed next to their names with a clickable link so you can determine for yourself whether or not you think it makes them a RINO. Also, just because a candidate does not have any issues listed next to their names doesn't mean they are not a RINO. In many cases, it just means that they are a first-time candidate who doesn't have much available on line about them.

Additionally, this is a work in progress. As more red flags pop up on candidates, they will be added to the list. And if anyone has anything else to add, they can mention it in the "Comments" section at the bottom. And click here to get involved with the national RINO Hunt movement.

The criteria is simple--if an action taken by a candidate is something most Tea Partiers, 9/12ers or other conservatives would never do or allow themselves to be associated with, then it belongs in the RINO Report.

Excellent! Great summary making it easy to see who not to vote for!

Robert, thanks for gathering this information.... makes it easier to eliminate the RINOs

By all means lets vote against the one Senate candidate who can actually raise the money needed to win. At least Mark Kirk has a voting record even though you can criticize it. None of the also-rans in that field has proven the ability to get win any election or raise any cash. Let's get serious people - we are in a super-minority situation here.

We have nothing to gain from electing a liberal with an "R" next to his name just because he can get big contributions and win elections. What are we fighting for if the candidates elect don't agree with us on the issues?

Kirk voted for Cap-and-Trade. He is liberal on a ton of issues. One wonders why he even calls himself a Republican in the first place.

    Thank you, Robert.

Good information to send to our friends and family that will be voting. We all must read this and make up our own minds as to who is worthy of our vote.

You forgot a link next to Andy Martin's name. Do some research on the guy and what I found is quite disturbing.

You should be alerted to the fact that " Andy Martin" is actually the formerly known, Anthony R. Martin-Trigona, a convicted Felon, who served time In Florida back in the 1990s. He has convictions here in Illinois for Criminal Contempt of Court, and Contempt of Court in Connecticutt. He ran for multiple offices here in Illinois back in the 1960s and 1970s, including, Governor, and U.S. Senate, on the Democratic Party primaries. After one primary election, and Chicago commentator wrote roughly, "the fact that Tony got so many votes makes him want to check all his windows and doors at night to make sure they are all locked!" Tony was diagnosed as a Schizophrenic, Manic-Depressive, with Delusions of Grandeur, by a Psychiatrist back in the 1960s, when he was seeking to change his draft status. There is both an Illinois Supreme Court Decision involving him in the books, as well as a decision of the U.S. Seventh Circuit court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

My votes will go to Adam Andzrejewski for governor and Don Lowery for senator. Being able to raise large sums of money or get the endorsements of political insiders is NOT a reason to vote for anyone. We need candidates on the ballot in Nov. that we can trust.

Mark Kirk voted for Cap and Trade. That makes him an unacceptable candidate IMO.
