The Revival Tour 2012 announces dates; will stop at Mohawk Place on April 4

The Revival Tour 2012 featuring Chuck Ragan, Dan Andriano, Cory Branan, Tommy Gabel, Nathaniel Rateliff, and surprise guests has been announced. The tour will stop at Mohawk Place in downtown Buffalo on Wednesday, April 4.

The idea of the tour stems from a rich folk tradition of acoustic storytelling. “The most unique element of The Revival Tour is the camaraderie that it's based on and the collaborations that are bred from that essence,” explains Americana singer/songwriter and original tour organizer Chuck Ragan in a press release from Reybee, Inc. The grassroots tour, now in it's fith year, has featured a cast of revolving guests of the years including: Ragan, Tim Barry (Avail), Ben Nicholas (Lucero), Frank Turner, etc.

The Revival Tour, sponsored by Daytrotter, Paste Magazine, Ernie Ball and Brixton Clothing, will kick off on March 20 in Dallas, TX. Chuck Ragan, Dan Andriano (Alkaline Trio / The Emergency Room), Nathiel Rateliff (singer/songwriter), and Cory Branan (longtime Lucero collaborator) are scheduled to appear at Mohawk Place on April 4.
