Asbury Park's ReVision Theatre kicked off their 2014 summer theatre season with a fabulous night out of good food, drinks, and most of all wonderful entertainment. The 7th Annual Season Announcement Party was held on June 7th at the BACA Sports Lounge on Cookman Avenue in the heart of the Asbury Park downtown area.

Guests were treated to a sample of what the upcoming season holds when Artistic Director Bob Angelini introduced Spiro Galiatsatos and Jennifer Nelson who sang selections from this season's upcoming shows. Music was provided by Evan J. Newman.

The following shows will be performed this summer:

"The Last Five Years" by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown which will run July 11 - July 27, 2014.

"tick, Tick...Boom!" a musical by the late Johnathan Larson will run August 8 - August 24, 2014.

"The Last Five Years" features Ephie Aardema who recently was in the Broadway run of Brown's "The Bridges of Madison County" which won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Score. She has previously performed at the ReVision Theatre. Appearing opposite her is noted New York and regional actor Spiro Galiatastos who has appeared in numerous ReVision shows. The show is directed by Corey Rubel and music directed by Andrew Hertz.

Both shows will be performed at the Theatre Bar, 610 Bangs Avenue in Asbury Park. Seating is limited to 75 people per show so this is a great chance to see a show in a unique setting.
