The Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, Pomona, CA.,is bring back its monthly Twilight Cruise Nights to be held on the first Wednesday of every month; April 3, May 1, June 5, July 3, Aug. 7, Oct. 2, Nov.6 and Dec. 4.April 3-Dec. 4, from 4-8 p.m. with free museum admission after 3 p.m., according to a news release from the NHRA Motorsports Museum.
The Cruise Nights, presented by Automobile Club of Southern California and Prolong Super Lubricants, are open to the public and cruisers include family friendly festivities such as music, food vendors and raffle prizes. Attendees also have the opportunity to participate in the special end-of-the-year Grand Prize Drawing featuring a California Hot Rod Reunion Getaway Package, an Auto Club NHRA Finals Weekend Package and a Smith-Million Union 76/Mobil Gasoline Tanker Collector Truck with all proceeds benefiting the museum.
In addition, Gale Banks Engineering has partnered with the museum to offer “Tech Talks,” a series of monthly educational automotive seminars with industry leaders, in conjunction with the Cruise Nights. Free and open to all Cruise Night guests, the first topics will be “Suck, Squeeze, Bang, Blow—How does an Engine Really Work” on April 3 and “Air Superiority—The Importance of Air Density” on May 1.
