Approximately 300 makers come out of their studios and into the spotlight this weekend along Division Street in Wicker Park, between Damen and Paulina, to showcase their unique array of hand made goods. An indie craft marketplace, the Fair showcases the brightest talents in contemporary craft and design. Juried from hundreds of applicants, the event is then curated to highlight an eclectic array of both experienced and emergent designers producing one-of-a-kind and limited edition goods.
Since its Chicago debut in 2003, the Renegade Craft Movement has played into the hands of both buyers and makers in far-reaching places in the world, including San Francisco, Austin and London.
