The Renaissance Festival is in town

Held on the weekends in Deerfield Beach and in Miami. The Deerfield Beach festival has already begun and will continue until March 17 from 10 a.m. until sunset. It is taking place in Quiet Waters Park. 401 S. Powerline Rd. The park itself is interesting, it has a water skiing system on ski rixen cable and is also a splash adventure water park. There is a mountain bike trail and camping with tent or tepee rental. So you don't have to put up a tent, they are already set up. Dogs are allowed in the park, but are not allowed for the Renaissance Festival. The Deerfield festival has themed weekends such as: Romance, Pirates, Wenches, Time Travelers, Explorers and St Patrick's with a whole day of scheduled events. The last three are the remaining and upcoming ones. The cost is $20 for adults, $7 for children 6-11 and free for children under 6. Special season passport tickets are also sold at $65 for the Deerfield location only which 'includes a commemorative pin and special seating at final joust of the day.'

In Miami it will begin on March 31 to April 8 for three weekends at Cauley Square Historic Village - 22400 Old Dixie Highway.
