The Red Cross of the Chesapeake region will be presenting Chesapeake Town Heroes. The Chesapeake Town Heroes will be taking place on Friday March 15, 2013 from 7:00PM - 12:00AM at Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall Theatre which is located at 1212 Cathedral St. Baltimore, MD 21201. The 2013 Honorees are The 2012 Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens, Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Under Armour, Inc., Baltimore City Fire Lieutenant Derrick L. Ready, and keynote speaker Ronald M. Shapiro.
The event will start with dinner at 7 p.m. and will continue with an 8 p.m. awards program. The 9:30 p.m. post party will cap off a great evening. This event has been taking been taking place for more than 15 years. All proceeds from this event will go to The American Red Cross. The Red Cross of the Chesapeake is the Maryland branch of the American Red Cross. The Red Cross of Chesapeake is made up five Maryland locations. These branches are located in Baltimore, La Plata, Walkersville, Hagerstown and Cumberland. This organization not only collects blood but responds quickly when natural disasters, fire and more strike Maryland.
