Do you remember where you were when you first played a game like Doom? Or a ninja-based game like Ninja Gaiden? If so, you will definitely remember where you were when you viewed the trailer for the reboot of Shadow Warrior.
Shadow Warrior combines ridiculous shooting action with old-school ninja moves. The trailer for the new version of Shadow Warrior shows that Flying Wild Hog (Hard Reset) has not forgotten that fast-paced action is exactly what players come back for. While basking in positive ratings, Shadow Warrior is trying to get you to hit the 'purchase' button on Steam.
The trailer ‘Underappreciated Features of Shadow Warrior: Wangtastic Features’ boasts a comical look at what made the original fun and what sets the reboot apart. Some of the features it highlights are ‘excessive fireworks,’ ‘fully destructible bicycles’ and ‘tasteful product placement.’ The trailer even takes a swing at Call of Duty by displaying its ‘advanced fish physics.’ These ‘features’ (especially the latter) show that Shadow Warrior’s developers know and understand their PC, Steam-using fan base. Seeing Shadow Warrior featured on Steam’s front page, in addition to viewing the game’s comical trailers, threatens to draw large sales out of Steam customers.
