According to the New York Post, short-term "X Factor" host Khloe Kardashian will not be returning for season three. Sources say producers of the show have asked Mario Lopez to return, but not Kardashian after her season-long hosting gig.
There are reportedly several possible reasons that she could be let go from the show including the decrease in ratings this past season, which has led producers to tighten up the shows budget.
Although some say Kardashian did a decent job for it being her very first hosting job, it certainly seems like "X Factor" may go with one judge much like it's rival show "American Idol."
If she does in fact exit the show she will be joining hosts L.A. Reid and Britney Spears who have already announced their departure from the show.
