The Reality of FASHION The Reality of AIDS for NYFW

The first annual "The Reality of FASHION The Reality of AIDS" presented by Beautiful Planning Marketing & PR and EFFY Jewelry NYFW runway show took place last night without a hitch.

The event took place on Saturday, February 9th 2013. Reality stars and celebrities that have appeared on reality television shows walked the runway to raise money for HIV and AIDS. The red carpet event took place at the Altman Building in New York City located at 135 West 18th Street, New York, NY 10001 and the doors opened at 7:30pm.

The featured designer for the evening was Dominique Auxilly, a well-known NYC based designer who has dressed celebrity names such as Nicki Minaj, Coco, and Tamar Braxton. The official stylist for the show will be Julianne Costigan who has assisted and styled numerous Toronto Fashion Week Shows including Holt Renfrew, Joe Fresh,
Christopher Bates & more. RFRA was created and produced by Monique Tatum and presented by her firm Beautiful Planning Marketing & PR (BPMPR) and EFFY Jewelry.
During the show, reality stars stormed the runway in Dominique Auxilly pieces to raise money and awareness for AIDS. The event was hosted by MTV Host and former
Americas Next top model contestant Kim Stolz and had names hit the runway such as Lil Kim, Janice Dickinson, Deena Cortese of The Jersey Shore, Mob Wives Drita D'Avanzo and More.

This year's designer of choice for The Reality of FASHION The Realityof AIDS celebrity runway show to benefit an AIDS Charity of Choice is none other than rising design star Dominique Auxilly! Dominique’s The Reality of FASHION The Reality of AIDS collection will feature women’s couture. Auxilly’s canvases are women that lack
inhibitions and could not care less for public opinion. Known to pull inspiration from all aspects of life her pieces most often reflect her love for old Hollywood, her obsession with architectural structures and her Jamaican roots. These elements and influences come
together to create a label like no other. Dominique Auxilly’s first collection was a hit after she made her debut during New York Fashion Week in 2009. Since the label has started to attract the attention of stylists, editors, fashion bloggers and well known celebrity names
such as Nicki Minaj, Adrienne Bailon, Coco-T, Tamar Braxton and many more.. Following the runway show pieces will be auctioned off online with a large portion of the proceeds being donated to the 2013 AIDS Charity of Choice.
