'The Real Housewives of New York City' stars take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

The Real Housewives of New York City” has ended for the season, but the stars are still actively participating on their social media accounts. The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has been spreading like wildfire and several celebrities have taken the challenge already. Carole Radziwill and Ramona Singer nominated fellow housewife Heather Thomson to take the challenge. According to an August 20 post on Heather Thomson's Facebook page, Thomson accepted and donated as well. It looks like many celebrities are using their popularity to help raise awareness with this challenge.

Ramona Singer hasn't been a bucket of fun in a while and just recently she announced her separation from Mario. As time is passing, Singer is getting back to her old self. Nominating Heather Thomson for this challenge was something fun and shows that the ladies are still on friendly terms. Fans are happy to see that there is still respect between the two ladies, even after there was a definite separation at “The Real Housewives of New York City” reunion.

Carole Radziwill and Kristen Taekman both took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge as well. In fact, “The Real Housewives of New York City” stars did it together. Their video was posted to Radziwill's Facebook page just a few days ago. Fans are happy these ladies accepted their challenges and donated as well.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has made a huge difference in the numbers of donations coming in as well as awareness for the disease. Several celebrities have joined “The Real Housewives of New York City” stars and each day more of them post their videos and encourage fans to donate. This has definitely changed things for the awareness of ALS.
