Fans of "The Real Housewives of New York City" don't have to worry for quite a while. According to a source quoted in a RumorFix article posted on Wednesday, March 12, the show is secure for at least one more season.
At the premiere party hosted by Kristen Taekman on Tuesday night, a source told the website that season seven is set to film in September.
“It is not true that the show is over. There is already a Season Seven set up and we begin filming in September," said the source.
Producers of the show are probably fervently hoping that more people tune in soon. As reported by All About The Real Housewives, the premiere episode that aired on Tuesday didn't do so well, with 1,329,000 viewers. This is a drastic drop from the numbers for the premiere episode of the fourth season, which numbered 1,965,000 viewers.
One person who definitely tuned in for the premiere episode was "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" housewife Brandi Glanville, who is good friends with new housewife Kristen.
"Woo hooooo its my bff @KristenTaekman big premiere night!! I feel like a proud mom! :) #RHONY," she tweeted Tuesday night.
