The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa's dinner party and the book

The final episode of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” started out with Dina visiting Teresa at her new home. Teresa mentions to Dina that she wants to host a dinner party, and is planning on inviting Danielle since she is friends with Jacqueline. Teresa stated, she wants to be polite.

The dinner party was held at one of Teresa’s favorite Italian Restaurants, Lu Nello in Cedar Grove, NJ. All of the women and their families arrived on time except for Danielle. The adults had a few drinks before sitting down at the dinner table, once seated, Danielle showed up with her two daughters. It was apparent that everyone was seemingly a bit intoxicated at the dinner table, laughing and having a great time.

Suddenly, Danielle pulled out "the book", “Cop without a Badge” and laid it on the table, the laughing at the table stopped. Jacqueline mentioned “that she feels like they are being ambushed.” Danielle then asked for everyone’s attention, and asked if she can be heard out about the lies that are in the book. She admitted that “the mug shot is indeed her, that she was arrested and that she did change her name.” While talking, Danielle was interrupted by Teresa and then Dina began to lose her temper. Caroline then started to moderate and asks the table to “Let her [Danielle] speak.” Danielle admitted that she has made a lot of mistakes and is seemingly directing her anger toward Dina.

Subsequently Dina began to interrupt Danielle again to ask questions, Caroline once more interjects but this time asks Dina to be quiet and addressed Danielle with: “Say what you need to say” but to “Look at me, because I am the one that told them.” “Them” seemingly being the gossip mill of Franklin Lakes, the salon Chateau the Art of Beauty and everyone that happened to be patronizing it the day the book came to light. Danielle did not believe her right away and mentions that she was told “it was Dina.”

Jacqueline came to Danielle’s defense, and confronts Dina. According to Jacqueline, Dina was excited when she found the book on the Internet and couldn’t wait to tell everyone. Jacqueline called Dina a liar and says she won’t cover for her anymore. It turns out, Dina ordered the book, and then Caroline and Dina brought it to Chateau the Art of Beauty, and exposed it.

Teresa interjected and asked “why Danielle’s ex-husband would ever write this book in the first place?” It was then that Teresa got so livid tipped the table and spilled food and wine before her husband Joe got her up and out of the room.

Dina told Danielle that the book really has nothing to do with anything and that she just “can’t stomach” Danielle, Danielle essentially said “ditto” before Chris, Jacqueline’s husband stepped in and asks everyone to calm down. He also mentioned that, “Danielle will always be welcome in his home.” Caroline was seemingly very upset with Jacqueline for taking Danielle’s side. Jacqueline then defended herself by saying that “Family or not, what’s right is right, what’s true is true.”
