Now that we are getting close to the casting announcement for ABC's "Dancing with the Stars", a number of people are already beginning to campaign for a role.

One of these such people is "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Guidice, who has taken to Twitter in order to express her interest in appearing on the show -- as a matter of fact, she even is hoping for Maksim Chmerkovskiy as a partner.

While this may seem like an unusual choice at first, Bravo's "Real Housewives" series has a devoted audience -- not only that, but Teresa has some financial reasons for doing the show thanks to a recent bankruptcy filing.

Some of the other candidates to appear next season include The Situation (who has been the target of rumors) and possibly even "Bachelorette" Ali Fedotowsky. However, ABC needs to put a stop to the frequent show crossovers -- if contestants start to go on their romance shows hoping for a spot on "Dancing", then it cheapens what both shows are ultimately about.
