The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is currently casting for the show’s upcoming fifth season and while fans would assume producers would be doing so in Beverly Hills, they would be wrong.

Apparently, the selection in Beverly Hills isn’t what producers are looking for, so they’ve branched out into the Valley, Calabasas specifically.

On Feb. 27, TMZ reported that a casting producer has just sent out a notice, requesting candidates from Holmby Hills, Bel air, and Malibu, but noting that they are also wiling to branch out the area.

The notices have been sent to a number of high-end businesses.

At this point, it looks like Carlton and Joyce are the axed women, so producers will likely be looking for at least two new wives. However, there has never really been an exact number when it comes to the cast, so it could be more — or less.

Meanwhile, the fourth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills continues to air on Bravo and won’t conclude until sometime next month, following a three-part reunion special.

As for when season five will begin filming, that has yet to be confirmed. However, the series typically films from spring to fall, so it could start filming in the next couple of months.
