'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Kandi Burruss ties the knot

'The Real House of Atlanta' star Kandi Burruss tied the knot with boyfriend Todd Tucker on Friday April 4, In Touch weekly reports.

A rep for the reality star confirmed to In Touch exclusively that the pair wed in a ceremony on Friday.

The interference from Burruss’ mom Joyce seemed to have been the cause for a potential break up for the couple but the two remained in sync and finally made it down the aisle.

"This is one of the best days of my life! I never imagined that I would marry my best friend. Todd’s been that to me," Kandi exclusively tells In Touch. "And to have just had the wedding of my dreams, it’s all been so beautiful. Now it’s time to party!"

According to the official 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Instagram page Kandi’s dress was an “extravagant dress made of Ostrich Feathers, by designer Reco Chapple. Kandi’s bridesmaids included a few of her celebrity friends including singer Fantasia, Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottles, 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s' Rasheeda and her 'RHOA' cast mate, Phaedra Parks”. The nuptuals were held at the Ritz Carlton in Atlanta and the reception was catered by reality TV Chef Roble.

Burruss is a Grammy-winning singer and songwriter and a former member of R&B group Xscape.

Burruss and Tucker met during filming of the top rated show while in South Africa in 2011. The pair announced their engagement in 2013. Burruss has an 11-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
