The Real Housewives of Atlanta” has more drama than any of the other shows in the franchise. The reunion show was aired in three parts, and ended with Kenya Moore pressing assault charges on Porsha Williams. While the women are all front and center, the men have been having some issues as well. Apollo Nida is going through a federal case where he faces up to 30 years in prison. A May 8 tweet from Apollo Nida has people in an uproar. Nida used the words “no homo,” which has fans and critics buzzing.

Apollo Nida maintains that while he has been a part of the filming of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” the men participating are not paid. He was a huge part of the last season and jousted his relationship with Phaedra Parks in the spotlight. Nida was trying to mess with Kenya Moore while still in a relationship with Parks. Nida and Parks are still together and have blamed the entire mess on Moore.

The charges against Apollo Nida allege he stole the identities of close to 50 people and laundered at least $2 million dollars. Reports came out that he copped a deal with the feds where he would flip and be an informant. Unfortunately the deal was made public and people are starting to call him out on it. T.I has spoken out against Nida, which is where the “no homo” comment came into play on Twitter.

The fate of Apollo Nida will be determined at a hearing in July. 30 years in prison is the maximum Nida is facing, but it is likely that he won't serve anywhere near that. “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is set to come back for another season, but there has been no word on which housewives will return. There are plenty of rumors, but no confirmations.
