Season 7 of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is ready to begin filming. All of the ladies are set to return along with two new additions. Demetria McKinney will be added as a full-time housewife while Claudia Jordan will have a part-time role. With all of the drama that has happened since the Season 6 reunion aired, fans aren't sure what to expect. According to an August 24 report from Epoch Times, Phaedra Parks is returning for sure. There has been doubt surrounding whether or not Parks would appear on the show because of the situation with Apollo Nida.

In July, Apollo Nida was sentenced to eight years in a federal prison. When Phaedra Parks failed to attend the sentencing hearing, rumors of an impending divorce began circulating. Parks is currently in a legal battle with an ex-friend and made some references in her deposition that alluded to issues in her marriage. There were reports a few weeks ago that said Parks would be taking a leave of absence from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" but that appears to be false.

Fans are waiting to see how things will play out for Season 7 of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." If Phaedra Parks does decide to take a step back there are two new ladies on the canvas. The additions will help take some of the stress off of the other ladies and allow fans to get to know more about them. Bravo has not yet announced an official air date for Season 7 but fans anticipate it beginning before the end of the year.
