The trailer for "The Purge: Anarchy" has hit the net. And just by judging by the trailer alone, it appears that this sequel intends to explore more of the night where all crime, including murder, is legal.
In the original "Purge", it told the story of a family barricading themselves inside their house, attempting to keep out would-be attackers. Now in this new one, "Anarchy", it takes a look at what is happening out on the streets during the twelve hours of fear and horror. And honestly, I think I speak for everyone when I say that this is "The Purge" that we were hoping we'd get with the first one.
I mean, what can be scarier than knowing that the Purge is about to commence, hurrying home, and only to have your car break down on you, still a long way from home? In the universe of "The Purge", not much.
If you haven't done so already, check out the trailer for "The Purge: Anarchy" now. Take it from a critic who really didn't care for the first film...I DEFINITELY plan on seeing this sequel!
