The Publican is adding a few new menu items to their popular brunch. Each week, they will alternate between meatloaf and mortadella sandwiches. The meatloaf sandwich is made with Wagyu short rib that is ground with pork shoulder, roasted mirepoix, housemade dijonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup and a fried egg. The meatloaf is served with provolone cheese on ciabatta bread. The mortadella sandwich is their version of bologna, made with finely ground pork sausage. The mortadella is topped with a sunnyside-up egg and served on ciabatta bread, as well. The Publican is also adding a new beverage to their signature drink list. Check out their new brunch cocktail called the Fulton Market Fizz, which is Plymouth gin mixed with lemon juice, simple syrup and bitter lemon juice.

The Publican serves up brunch Sundays from 10am till 2pm. The restaurant is located at 837 W. Fulton in Chicago. To see a list of the brunch menu, as well as dinner and liquor lists log onto www.ThePublicanRestaurant.com.
