With Sony officially announcing their next generation system, it is very clear that a push behind the social aspect of gaming is being made with the PS4. At the PS4 reveal event, Sony but a big emphasis on the social features that will be implemented into the PS4. One major new function resides on the new DualShock 4 controller for the system, the “Share” button.
In addition to this, according to an article posted by GameInformer on Feb. 21, Sony will be making a decision that many gamers have been desperately awaiting. Sony has officially confirmed that the PS4 will actually come bundled with a headset. In conjunction with this, the headset jack that is found on the bottom of the new controller for the PS4 will attribute this addition perfectly.
One of the biggest issues with online gaming on the PS3 platform is the fact that many players do not have a means of voice communication. With a headset being bundled with PS4 systems, this obstacle will be completely eliminated.
