Tuesday, October 13th 2009 “The Proposal” finally hits the shelves.

According to IMDB reviews, this movie will not win any Oscars, but it has potential to sit with the other chick flicks in your collection.
 
Director Anne Fletcher and writer Pete Chiarelli teamed up to form a story about a pushy boss that forces her assistant to marry her. This in turn would enable her to keep her Visa status in Canada. He does accept the bribe, under a few conditions.
 
This film is full of laughs, “awww moments”, and, of course, a love story.
 
“The Proposal” stars Sandra Bullock, as Margaret Tate, and Ryan Reynolds, as Andrew Paxton.
 
Mary Steenburgen, Craig T. Nelson, Betty White, and Denis O’Hare also make an appearance.
 
This film gives the audience a chance to escape the particulars of real life, and step into humor and romance for an evening.
If you are a chick with a need to escape for an hour or so, grab some popcorn, a comfy seat, and enjoy "The Proposal"
