Did you know that a 16 year old student recently brought a loaded gun with him to school in St. Petersburg Florida? Did you also know that the school was Gibbs High school? Did you also know that parents are understandably concerned about this new turn of events? Can you see any reason why this teenager should not be facing felony charges for his actions? Can you also see any reason why he would have brought a loaded gun to a learning facility in the first place? Do you feel that this is a trend that is beginning and could only end badly for innocent students? Do you feel that because this is the second time this year, something should already have been done about it?
Are you like so many other parents and family members who feel that guns in school are unacceptable? Do you believe that gun control would have avoided this scenario? Do you also believe that our right to bear arms has nothing to do with an irresponsible decision by a teenager? When you were in school, were you ever caught smoking marijuana?
