Presque Isle Scenic Look-Out
No government shutdown will ever effect the Presque Isle scenic look-out from ever being closed. It is owned by Marquette County, here in the city of Marquette. Marquette is a site-seeing capital in Michigan. The Presque Isle look-out can be found on the right-hand side, about a ¼ from the grave site of Chief Charley Kawbamgam when traversing one-way only along Peter White Drive that circumnavigates the island. The look-out provides a panoramic view of one of the islands rocky out-cropping, a view of Lake Superior clear to the horizon and of an adjacent island several hundred yards away off shore that is inhabited by seagulls.
Should you wish to view the island up-close, The Presque Isle Marina offers transient boat-slips for those that may wish to seek some land-locked outdoor family activities and site-seeing on Presque Isle Park: The crown jewel site-seeing spot of Marquette Michigan. The Presque Isle scenic look-out is an outdoor adventure site-seeing spot and a top travel and tourism destination.
