Water Drinkers: In follow-up to my last article about drinking more water, I'd like to add another helpful tip:
Say a little prayer to your water, or say THANK YOU before you drink it.
As many fruits and veggies are made up of mostly water, it wouldn't hurt to say a little THANK YOU to them before eating as well!
It might sound crazy, but just ask Dr. Emoto. He is the author of the New York Times Best Selling Book The Hidden Messages in Water and The True Power of Water and Love Thyself.
In a You Tube video interview, Dr. Emoto suggests writing the words LOVE and GRATITUDE on your water bottle. WHY? Just check out his research...
In Dr. Emoto’s experiment, he froze water crystals after exposing them to various things, and took pictures under a microscope. Water crystals that “listened” to positive music like “Amazing Grace” formed beautiful crystals, while those that were exposed to heavy metal formed well, something not so pretty (SEE SLIDE SHOW). Sorry, Slash and Ozzy!
Dr. Emoto even exposed the water to words like “YOU DISGUST ME” and “THANK YOU.” It seems the most beautiful crystals were formed by exposure of positive messages, music, and prayer.
Water from clear springs and water that has been exposed to loving words show brilliant, complex, colorful snowflake patterns. In contrast, polluted water, or water exposed to negative thoughts, formed incomplete, asymmetrical patterns with dull colors.
From Dr. Emoto's website:
"By exposing water to a particular word or piece of music, freezing it, and photographing the ice crystals formed, Dr. Emoto has shown that from beautiful words and music, come beautiful crystals, and from mean-spirited, negative words, come malformed and misshapen crystals. What is the significance? It becomes clear when we remember that the adult human body is approximately 70% water and infant bodies are about 90% water. We can be hurt emotionally and, as the water can be changed, for the worse, physically by negativity. However, we are always closer to beauty when surrounded by positive thoughts, words, intentions and ultimately those vibrations."
Dr. Emoto's research implies that water is energy and that it has a memory. One can extrapolate further from this that we, as humans, made up of mostly water encapsulate this energy. We can "create our own reality." We create our own lives by the way we think and by the way we speak, and that everything is vibration.
We can certainly HEAR words that hurt us, but we can also CHOSE to replace those words with positive messages of love and gratitude, and CHOSE to resonate positive messages rather than negative ones.
The implications related to anti-aging here are REAL - just think of the older people that you know. It's quite common that those older people with positive attitudes look younger than their age and feel healthier than those who are cranky and bitter.
If we focus on love and gratitude, we create beautiful things and beautiful energy!
Merci, Grazie, and Namaste,
