The power of coup d'etat

Go Vote for the coup d'etat (Photo:CBS)

So this week America has the chance to bestow perhaps the most greatest power ever given to a house guest.  What is it though, who will win it, will they use it, how does it work?

Simply put the Coup D'Etat allows the house guest that America chooses remove the Head of Household's nomination choices and replace them with his or her choices before the eviction vote!  It is quite a power to say the least and it is one which must be kept secret from the other house guests lest you wish big brother to take your power away you won't let anyone know you've got this mystery power.  The house guests will not know what the power is until the wielder of the power decides to use this power.  In BB 8 Boogie had this power and he never used it!  In the position he was in at the time, though, he really had no need of it.  This season will be playing out differently though most likely.

From every indication so far this year, Jeff, will be the winner of the power this year.  So far this week, Jeff is in a great spot.  It wouldn't be likely that he'll use the power this week as he has a nice newfound friend in Russell and himself and Jordan are not on the block and thats all he really cares about.

Next week however should be different.  Jeff does seem to have his wits about him and is a student of the game.  He should take a moment and consider the power that he has and should realize winning HoH next week would not be the best course of action of someone with this power.  With this power, Jeff will be able to protect four people in effect.  If say Jesse, Chima, or Natalie get HoH this week and put Jeff and Jodan up, Jeff can pull off him and Jordan and replace them with two people he choses effectively protecting two more people.  His possibilities are so much better when he's not in possession of the HoH key.

Consider the changes in game that will cause when all of a sudden the folks have a game plan of who to evict and all of a sudden wham bam thank ya ma'am there are two people to evict that nobody except Jeff has even considered.  It will be a game changer and hopefully Jeff will take the time and consider how to best use his newfound power to protect himself and truly shake things up in the house to put himself in the drivers seat the rest of the way.

the coup d'etat was bb and americas way to give jeff some leverage. he had not done anything and needed help. it should be banished from bb or revised to the point of only giving immunity for that person. it took away power from chima, who earned her hoh and gave it to jeff who didnt do anything to get it!!!!!!!!!!

oh please...what is the big brother motto? Expect the unexpected. Anybody with half a brain knows no show can happen without a plan. They don't make this stuff up on the fly.

Chima got her ass kicked out and now she wants to call foul? Bah most of us are much smarter then that. Obviously Chima isn't.
