The PM-EXPO Mardi Gras comes to the South Florida Fairgrounds

For anyone who was worried that they would have to travel all the way to Orlando to celebrate Mardi Gras one more time, the PM-EXPO might be just the place for you. On Wednesday, Feb. 27 at the South Florida Fairgrounds, CAMS, community association volunteers, and anyone involved in the HOA industry is invited to learn, taste great foods, and get free 1-on-1 advice from experts with other professionals in the industry.

With the economic slowdown of the past several years, many community associations have become unwitting landlords their own neighborhood. This has brought up many difficult situations, and has led to more questions than most volunteer boards, and even some professional managers are equipped to answer. Fortunately, the PM-EXPO is hosting some unique seminars that might be of help.

Everyone lives off of some kind of street, and in our modern society, odds are better than average that the street is paved. Some people think that once a road is paved over, it never has to be worked on ever again. In a perfect world, this may be true. However, we all know that this world is far from perfect, and that the continuous flow of traffic, even on a relatively lightly traveled road, can cause major wear and tear. But what do you do to keep the road up? Find out at the PM-EXPO, of course.

•ASPHALT 101, Martin Applebaum, Driveway Maintenance - 1 CEU (OPP)

Though the PM-EXPO offers a wide variety of courses and lectures, there are bound to be a few other questions that you have about issues that may pop up in your association. If this is the case, you might just want to ask the experts their opinions.
