Ree Drummond, The Pioneer Woman, has a popular cooking show on the Food Network. She is also the author of her second cookbook, The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Food From My Frontier. Ree lives on a cattle ranch in Oklahoma with her husband and four children.
In this cookbook, Ree shares photos of her family and her recipes for: breakfast, lunch, soups, starters, party food, drinks, pasta, pizza, supper, sides, sweets, and canning. She has step-by-step directions on how to make all her recipes including: Lemon Blueberry Pancakes, Fried Mozzarella, Rigatoni and Meatballs, Pasta with Tomato Cream Sauce, Tangy Tomato Brisket, Herb-Roasted Pork Tenderloin, Knock You Naked Brownies, and Malted Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies. The best part is the picture of her messy kitchen many people can relate to toward the back of her cookbook.
The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Food From My Frontier was published by William Morrow. It is available at a St. Paul Public Library and a Ramsey County Library.
